Ben Harrison is a playwright, lyricist, composer, writer, and entertainer. At his core, he is a bar-room singer/songwriter who manages to blend history, musical theater, Key West culture, and humor into unusual stories that are mostly true. Ben has been a guest on The Howard Stern Show, This American Life, Dr. Demento, The Dick Cavett Show, and more. He and has recorded ten studio albums and four full-length theater musicals and is the author of four books. Most recently, Ben gave a series of performances of his songs at The Key West Theater in winter 2025. 

Ben and his wife, sculptor Helen Harrison, live in Key West, Florida, where they opened Harrison Gallery in 1986.
