ANN BURROUGHS

When Ann creates a piece, she pushes herself to define what interests her. Focusing on doing her best to transfer this thought to produce a visual, both in paintings and metalwork. Ann’s work mostly deals with core issues of what humans need to survive in the modern world. Most of her images are done in layers-reflecting the layers of life.

“When artwork is too controlled , harmonized, expected, and in order, it’s boring. The intent of my work is to make people think, letting the viewers create their own feelings and unique reactions.”
